Well now that i've had a few days to digest the BFN, i have rung Dr H and arranged my next cycle. We are having xmas off, but right back into it in January. He is sending me a script for Clomid 100mg which i will take from day 2 to 7 and i will have a blood test on day 11. I'm due about the 7th January for day 1, so about the 20th January for the next IUI, give or take a day.
We're gonna use up the rest of the two vials that we have left of our donor next cycle, then switch to a new donor. Seriously thinking about going onto a US donor tho. The donor i like is still available. Can't really make any moves about reserving those vials until we have used up the other aussie sperm first!!
I enjoyed a bottle of Brown Brothers Dolcetto & Syrah on monday night, never tried it before and i'm in love!! It's so yummy!! I know its a desert wine and it is pretty sweet, but i love it (can you tell i like it lots!!). Kim's efforts at drowning her sorrows was one and a half cans of bourbon, she is such a cheap drunk.
We went to a work friend of mine's house for dinner and drinks and stayed the night and went op shopping the next day. It was lovely, like a weekend away. Really cheered me up. My friend Yvonne has this beautiful "really big" black staffy called Solomon. He was great 'pet therapy' for me while i was there and Kim and i have decided to move out of this unit as soon as the lease runs out in June so we can get a house and get a couple of furry babies...I mean we have Casper, and we love him to death, but we have so much nurturing type love to go around that we are gonna get a couple of puppies.
Just can't decide on what kind tho. I have had my heart set on getting Rotties, but Kim fell in love with Solomon and wants a staffy and i have always loved staffy's too. Kim wants a black one. I kinda like brindle or red ones, so we might get a black one for kim and a red or brindle one for me. We were always going to get two dogs because they will get lonely when we are both at work. Often we are at work at different times, so the longest they would be by themselves would be 4 or 5 hours, but still, thats a long time in doggie world. Not sure how Casper will take it, but they will be puppies and i'm sure he'll show them who's boss when they arrive.
Now to find a reputable breeder in the area. There are so many. Alot of them aren't currently breeding so i think we will have to put our names down for puppies next year. So i think if we find a couple of good breeders and go visit them to see their dogs, it will make it a little easier. |
