Ok i have done it, i have bought bathers ready to start swimming in the staff pool where i work and i have started having an affair with Tony.
Thats what we say at work when another one of us starts the Tony Ferguson diet. Today is day 1. Not too bad, i am glad i started on night shift tho because i am asleep for half the day...dont really feel like eating that much on night shift except junk and i'm not allowed junk, so am just going to concentrate on drinking my 2 litres of water at work.
I've started the day backwards and had dinner when i got up at 5.30pm (palm size piece of protein and 3 cups of vegetables) then had dessert (diet jelly) ... umm i've eaten a pear and then i'll take a salad and cup of soup to work for lunch. Then when i get home in the morning i'll have a banana smoothie for breakfast!! See, backwards.
One day down, 209 to go... i figure if i lose about a kilo a week and i need to lose at least 30kgs, i will be on this diet for at least 30 weeks = 210 days. I dont think i am doin myself any favours by counting the days. Maybe i should do a weight loss ticker on my blog!! Would have preferred a pregnancy one by oh well...
Kim is 9 days post IUI and she has been feeling a little nauseous the last two evenings and went to bed at 7.30ish tonight, sore boobs, all the signs of us getting our hopes up!! We have one HPT in the house, so lets see how long we can hold out before we use it! |
That Tony - he sure gets around ;-) I have a friend who lost about 20 kgs on Tony and she seemed to find it not too agonising to stick to. Those signs sound really good for the pregnancy test. I think I've got one unused one floating around if you need it - it's a stolen hospital one :) Naughty nurse! Did you get my SMS about April 1st?
